In the Design Development Phase, we prepare more detailed drawings to illustrate other aspects of the proposed design.
- Floor plans are computerized to show all of the rooms in correct size and shape with basic dimensions (drawn at ¼” scale)
- Elevations are computerized and correct graphically with basic materials determined (drawn @ ¼” scale)
- Roof plan is resolved graphically
- Site planning is prepared in sufficient detail for the civil engineer to proceed with site plan documents and any other required civil engineering
- Critical details determined as necessary for efficient completion of construction documents. Such things as eave and rake details, cornice details, coursing information, window and door manufacturers as well as room volumes are examples of such information.
- Interior design concept plans are developed for issues affecting construction documents. We will work with you and your interior designer on furnishing lay-outs and probable room finishes.
- Preliminary budgets are frequently requested from potential builders at the completion of this phase to ensure your project is within your financial as well as design goals.
