In the Schematic Design Phase, we prepare a series of rough sketches
which show the general arrangement of rooms and their relationship to each other and the site.
Examples of items completed during this phase are:
- Site analysis which is used for reviewing sight lines, zoning issues, topographic concerns, etc.
- Preliminary site planning with proposed residence and accessory structure footprints.
(Used for concept plans by landscape architect and civil engineer)
- Plan sketches for first floor, second floor, and lower level
- Exterior elevation sketches around home- Preliminary analysis of exterior materials
