This classic Italianate farmhouse design was hidden behind aluminum siding and generations of insensitive additions. The previous additions were stripped away along with the siding. Starting with renovationg the original home, the orverall size of the home was tripled. This included a new three-car garage, kitchen, nook, family room, guest suite, etc. on the main floor. The second floor consist of a new master suite, two offices, renovated baths and bedrooms. The exterior was re-clad with authentic details including replicated brackets with decorative painting. Large window areas alsogive this project the hint of a ‘modern’ residence without losing its original character. Landscaped gardens, a reflecting pool and a pond provided the exterior finishing touches.
